You have to look very hard to find everything he puts forth, as narratives illustrate graphics as much as the inverse, and there are often multiple levels to both. This monumental work, based on his experience as a cartographer and geographer, represents the first grapphics widest intent to provide a theoretical foundation to Information Visualization.
