Writing Style – Amazing So yay I guess for no cliffhanger?? This book felt much more action packed than the previous two – without the slowwww first fhe. Chima’s world building isn’t the most inventive but I love her words for wizards and amulets. She frequently speaks to young writers and readers at schools and libraries nationwide. But how could he keep Raisa alive when so many enemies seemed bent on killing her?

And at this point I know my ship isn’t going to sail I really liked all wlof the character development since the start of this series. I love that the first half of this book, is all of our favorite characters trying to get Raisa back home safely.
In this series Book 4. His usual street face was gone. I will say that all of the characters, major and minor, are well fleshed-out and fully formed. Amon Talk about sacrificial. It’s no secret that the male lead in this story is the underlying factor as to why I am pushing through this series so quickly. After all, there were lots of boogeymen lurking in the shadows. But putting all that in perspective with the path both he and Raisa seem to be on, it stops to niggle and piles on the intrigue.
They choose to keep going, to understand the other one without spending pages and pages moping and distrusting. My problem is exactly what I said below: Raisa’s back to being a cranky pr The cliffhanger is resolved for the most part in the first chapter and by the second we get the answers to the last book’s biggest mystery, who is the mysterious Crow?
We’re supposed to think she’s silly for falling for Micah when we know Micah is only after the throne and is really in love with Raisa. What price will both pay?
I stated when Thrkne first read this back in March that feel unqualified to write this review, because I feel so stubbornly biased. Where do I begin? One day someone does come and finds her at an inn. Cinda Williams Chima has really impressed me with these books, but this ggay in particular was just incredible. And the craziest thing is, he’s not even reached his full potential yet. This book felt much more action packed than the previous two – without the 4. I admit that’s not my favourite.

Just really, how hard is it to write about supportive loving female friendships? I’ll just chalk it up to the author laying groundwork for what was to come because when stuff started happening – hoo boy.
