Aozora Bunko (青空文庫) is a digital archive of Japanese literature in the public domain. In addition to its web presence, the corpus is also. Not only does Aozora Bunko provide tons of Japanese literature for free, but the site also fights for more books to enter the public domain so.

Note that you have to decide on the output format before-hand, it cannot be changed in the above windows. Be reminded that documents generated in this way will not appear as Books on your kindle, but as personal documents.
